CRANDIC changes its fuel surcharge rate each month predicated on market conditions for fuel.
HDF Fuel Surcharge Status
Per CIC Mileage-Based Fuel Surcharge Tariff 9015, the current surcharge effective July 1, 2026 is $0.90 cents per mile. Pending any changes to the supporting data, the fuel surcharge scheduled to become effective August 1, 2026 is $0.76 cents per mile, based on the average price per gallon for Highway Diesel Fuel (HDF) for June 1, 2026.

Contractor Safety Policy
Safety is the top priority at CRANDIC. Strict adherence to all safety rules is required of all individuals and businesses that are granted access or permission to work on CRANDIC property. Please carefully review our Contractor Safety Policy.
Utility Crossing and Forms
A licensee or its agents, contractors or subcontractors performing activities on CRANDIC right-of-way shall provide to CRANDIC an insurance policy for Railroad Protective Liability Insurance or similar coverage in the amount of two million dollars ($2,000,000).
The licensee as well as any agents, contractors, or subcontractors performing activities on CRANDIC premises shall also maintain commercial general liability insurance coverage throughout the term of this license and any extensions thereof. In addition, such insurance shall contain limits not less than two million dollars ($2,000,000).
